Radiation cross-linked heat shrinkable tape/sleeve is mainly used in field girth weld anti-corrosion coating or repairing for steel pipe with a 3-layer polyethylene coating, for connecting sealing of the thermal insulated pipe; for joints of HDPE sewage pipe/Drain pipe.
The structure of the heat shrinkable tape
The heat shrink tape/sleeve is composed of two layers: a cross-linked polyethylene layer and a special adhesive layer.
Qingdao Huashida Machinery Co., Ltd. has developed the 3-layer fiber-reinforced PE heat shrinkable sleeve/tape, which is composed of a cross-linked polyethylene layer, a fiber reinforcing layer and a special adhesive layer, which has higher tensile strength and faster shrinkage speed.
The adhesive has good bonding with the PE backing, the steel pipe and the Fusion bonded epoxy (FBE layer). When the tape is heated, the PE layer shrinks, the adhesive layer melts, the tape closely wraps around the pipe joints and forms together with the pipe surface a firm and continuous anti-corrosive body. It is resistant to corrosion, wear, impact, UV and aging, and easy to be installed.

Quality guarantee period: 12 months from the date of Bill of Lading.
During this period, the seller will provide free service for all problems caused by the quality of equipment, however except the problems caused by the buyer because of the wrong operation.
Service: The seller would send technicians to the buyer's factory to commission equipment and train the people of the buyer. The buyer should pay for round-trip transportation expenses, food, accommodation, insurance locally and related salary.
