Cross-Linked 3LPE Pipe Pipeline Corrosion Protection Field Joint Wraparound Heat Shrink Sleeve 

INTRODUCTION
Heat shrink sleeve is a corrosion protective coating for steel pipeline.It has different forms: wraparound sleeve, tubular sleeve and wrap tape. Now heat shrink sleeve is the most widely used method of field applied steel pipe corrosion protection in the world.  
Heat shrink sleeve comprises cross-linked polyethylene backing and special hot melt adhesive. It is used together with epoxy primer.Hot melt adhesive has good bonding with PE backing, steel pipe and epoxy layer. By heating PE backing shrinks, the adhesive melts, and closely wraps around the pipe or pipe joint, then it forms together with epoxy a firm and continuous anti-corrosion body. It is resistant to corrosion, abrasion, impact, UV and aging.  
The heat shrink wrap tape can be used for wrapping the pipe bends or the whole pipe to get a protection coating which is equal to the factory-applied mainline coating.

It is mainly used for wrapping around pipe, anti-corrosion of kinds of pipe joints, and repairing pipes.
For example: Oil and gas pipe, PU insulation pipe, 3PE/2PE steel pipe.
