HDPE Drainage Pipe Electro Fusion tape/belt/band fitting

HDPE Electro-fusion belt/Tape is a kind of special connection pipe fittings which is made of HDPE sheet by secondary processing and composite special Nickel alloy mesh. It is mainly used for the connection of supply heat pipeline, oil pipeline, natural gas pipeline and anti-corrosion insulation pipeline. According to the different application scope of electro-fusion belt / tape, it can be divided into the following three types: 1. Electro-fusion tape for hollow wall corrugated/structured pipe; 2. Electro-fusion belt for Metal reinforced HDPE spirally corrugated pipe; 3. Electro-fusion tape for buried pre-insulation pipe.


Features of electro fusion tape:
1. Because of various of restrictions, can not guarantee the airproof capability after the pipe joint welded.
2. The best way to weld the joint should use the Hand extruder welding the cutting edges inside of the pipe first, the use the narrow tape welding it from outside.

Performances of electrofusion tape:
1. Waterproof;
2. Able to withstand axial forces initiated by axial movements of the pipe in the ground;
3. Able to withstand radial forces and bending moments;
4. Able to withstand effects of temperature and temperature variations.
5. Have the same thickness of the line pipe insulation layer.

HDPE Electro fusion Tape for Hollow Wall structured pipe
