High-Performance PE Anti-Corrosion Heat Shrinkable Sleeve for Pipeline Field Joints
The Huashida PE Anti-Corrosion Heat Shrinkable Sleeve provides a robust and reliable solution for field joint coating and pipeline protection. Engineered with a dual-layer structure consisting of a radiation cross-linked polyethylene backing and a specialized heat melt adhesive, this sleeve, when applied with a non-solvent two-component epoxy primer (for steel pipes), creates a powerful barrier against corrosion, wear, impact, UV radiation, and aging.
The heat melt adhesive ensures excellent bonding to the PE backing, steel pipe surface, and epoxy primer. Upon heating, the PE backing shrinks while the adhesive melts, tightly conforming the sleeve around pipe joints. This process forms a strong, continuous anti-corrosive layer, effectively replicating the high-quality 3-layer anti-corrosive coating achieved under factory conditions. Our sleeves are designed for ease of operation, ensuring efficient and long-lasting pipeline protection.
