Electricfusion tape/band is pre-cut high-quality HDPE sheet embeded with nicochrome net.  It is used as polymer pipe welding materials or fittings, which is installed by a special electric heating welder.
The tape size can be customized. It can bu used for a big range of pipe diameter from 200mm.

Application:

2. Pre-insulated pipes field joint welding and oil pipes joint welding;
3. Hollow wall spiral pipe joint fitting

Feature:
1. According to the corrugated process of this kind of pipe, the width of peak valley is usually from 60mm to 80mm. So the width of electrofusion band is 60-80mm. By electric heating the band melts and welds the pipe joints along the cutting edges.
2. Because of various of restrictions, this kind of welding can not guarantee the Sealing performance.
3. The best way to weld the joint is to use the Hand extruder for welding the cutting edges inside of the pipe first, then use the electrofusion band to weld it from outside.
