The system employs a robust 3-layer polyethylene (3LPE) external coating combined with a high-performance internal epoxy barrier, engineered for critical fluid transportation applications including hydrocarbons and processed water.
The external 3LPE configuration utilizes a fusion-bonded epoxy (FBE) primer that forms a molecular bond with the substrate, delivering exceptional adhesion strength and cathodic disbondment resistance. An ethylene copolymer adhesive layer ensures complete interfacial compatibility, while the high-density polyethylene (HDPE) topcoat (2.5-3.0 mm nominal thickness) provides mechanical protection.
For internal protection, Internal Epoxy Powder Coating offers a smooth, chemically resistant barrier that ensures flow efficiency, hygiene, and corrosion resistance, making it ideal for water and sensitive fluid pipelines.
