PE Heat Shrinkable Sleeve Overview

The PE heat shrinkable sleeve is engineered from cross-linked polyethylene (PE) and a specialized heat melt adhesive. Here are its key features:

   • Cross-Linked PE Back: Provides strength and flexibility.
   • Heat Melt Adhesive: Offers excellent bonding with the PE back, steel pipes, and Fusion Bonded Epoxy (FBE) layers.

   • When heated, the PE back shrinks while the adhesive layer melts, allowing it to tightly wrap around pipe joints.
   • This process creates a strong, continuous anti-corrosion barrier in conjunction with the FBE layer.
