Low Heat Loss
PERT insulated pipes utilize polyurethane rigid foam plastics for insulation, with a thermal conductivity of λ=0.013-0.03 kcal/m·h·ºC. This is significantly lower than other commonly used pipe insulation materials, improving insulation efficiency by 4-9 times. The closed-cell rate of polyurethane foam is as high as 92%, resulting in a very low water absorption rate of approximately 0.2 kg/m².
PERT insulated pipes are renowned for their outstanding anti-corrosion properties, exceptional insulation performance, and remarkably long service life. The unique design of the polyurethane rigid foam insulation layer tightly bonds to the working pipe, effectively isolating air and water infiltration, thus preventing corrosion and ensuring the structural integrity of the pipe over an extended period.
Polyurethane insulated pipes can last over 50 years, which is a significant improvement compared to traditional pipe installation methods. This lifespan is 3 to 4 times longer than that of pipes installed using conventional trench laying or overhead laying techniques. This extended durability not only reduces the need for frequent maintenance and replacement but also offers substantial cost savings and environmental benefits over the long term. As a result, PERT insulated pipes have become an increasingly popular choice for modern piping systems.
PERT insulated pipes do not require the construction of large trenches, reducing earth excavation by more than 50%, civil engineering and concrete use by 90%, and shortening the construction period by over 50%.
