3PE anti-corrosion coating is a three-layer protective system for steel pipes, improving service life from 5-10 years to 50-100 years.
Structure: FBE layer ≥100μm + adhesive layer 170-250μm + PE layer 2.5-3.7mm.
It ensures high mechanical strength, excellent insulation performance, accurate coating process, and environmental protection.
Application:
The three-layer HDPE stripe winding process, with epoxy powder coating as bottom layer and binding adhesive as second layer, is the widely used technique in steel pipe anti-corrosion all over the world. The anti-corrosion steel pipe are applied in oil, gas and water supply pipelines.
Technological flow:
Upload pipes→pipes conveyor→rust removal→intermediate frequency heating→Epoxy powder coating→Middle layer &polyethylene stripe winding→water cooling→pipes conveyor→ pipe chamfer→unload pipes
Blasting machinery:
The high-speed Shots (steel shots, steel sand, etc.) are casted to the outer surface of the steel pipe by shot blasters. The Shots hit the surface of the steel pipe with a strong impact force to make the rust, scale and other impurities fall off to achieve the purpose of rust removal.
This method has high rust removal efficiency and can quickly remove the stubborn rust layer on the surface of the steel pipe, and at the same time of rust removal, the impact of the shots can also produce a certain crushing stress on the surface of the steel pipe, improve the power of resist fatigue strength and corrosion resistance of the steel pipe.
