Product Description

Radiation Cross-Linked PE Heat Shrink Tape for Anticorrosion Corrosion Protective Steel Pipe/Bends/Fittings

PE backed Heat Shrink Tape for pipeline is composed of radiation cross-linked polyethylene backing and special heat melt adhesive.
It can form a 3-layer corrosion protective coating together with Solvent-free two component epoxy primer to protect external side of steel pipe/bends/fittings, which is similar to the factory-applied 3LPE coating.

When heating the heat shrink sleeve, the PE backing shrinks and the adhesive melts. The sleeve closely wraps around the pipe. The heat shrinkable sleeve (HSS) forms a firm and continuous anti-corrosion body, which is resistant to corrosion, wear, impact, UV and aging.

It is mainly used for wrapping around the pipe, anti-corrosion of kinds of pipe joints, and repairing pipes.
