HDPE pre-insulated pipe field joint heat shrink casing
Material: PE
Description: During the construction of heating pipelines and some crude oil pipelines, preinsulated pipes need to be connected to each other or to elbows. After the two ends of the steel pipe are welded, the weld needs to be insulated. In this case, a heat shrink casing is required. The heat shrink casing is a casing extruded directly from the base material and has the property of shrinking after processing. When laying the pipeline, place the heat shrink casing at the pipe connection, and overlap the two ends with the outer protective pipe of the insulation pipe. Use a gas gun to evenly heat both ends of the heat shrink casing, the casing shrinks tightly onto the outer sheath pipe, it forms a whole. Then fill it with polyurethane foam to complete a safe and stable insulation.
