The Three-Layer Polyethylene (3LPE) anti-corrosion steel pipe typically consists of three layers:
- First Layer (Epoxy Powder Layer): Acts as the base layer, in direct contact with the steel pipe surface, providing excellent adhesion and anti-corrosion properties.
- Second Layer (Adhesive Layer): Utilizes a copolymer adhesive with branched functional groups to bond the epoxy powder layer and the polyethylene layer.
- Third Layer (Polyethylene Layer): Employs high-density polyethylene as the outer anti-corrosion coating, offering superior mechanical protection and corrosion resistance.

The three-layer polyethylene anti-corrosion coating serves as an advanced outer protective layer for buried pipes and is widely used in the anti-corrosion of gas and oil transmission pipelines, urban gas supply systems, water supply pipelines, and other fluid transmission pipelines. The 3LPE anti-corrosion coating enhances the mechanical properties of pipelines, offering high electrical resistance, waterproofing, wear resistance, and anti-aging performance.
Technological Processes
- Pipe Loading: Place the steel pipes onto the conveyor system.
- Pipe Conveyance: Transport the pipes to the next process via a screw conveyor.
- Rust Removal: Clean the steel pipe surface to remove rust and contaminants, ensuring a cleanliness level of at least Sa2.5.
- Intermediate Frequency Heating: Heat the pipes to the appropriate temperature for coating application.
- Epoxy Powder Coating: Apply the epoxy powder layer to the steel pipe surface.
- Outer Layer Adhesive and Polyethylene Coating: Sequentially apply the adhesive and polyethylene layers.
- Cooling Spray: Cool the coated pipes to cure the coating.
- Pipe End Grinding: Grind the ends of the pipes to ensure a smooth finish.
- Pipe Unloading: Remove the processed pipes from the conveyor system.

Our purpose is to supply highest cost-effective products and the most suitable solutions to our clients, as well as intimate help and service, on this basis we reach a win-win situation.
For over 14years We have exported to many foreign countries, such as Russia, Iran, Turkey, U. A. E, Sudan, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, South Asia, Poland etc.
7. Guarantee and after service
The guarantee period is 12 months from the date of installing, but no more than 14 months from the date of delivery. After this period we are obliged to provide with lifelong service at the expense of Buyer.
During the warranty period we are responsible to provide trouble shootings and help the customer to solve the problems, provide spare parts which are broken, except breakings caused by the Buyer.
We will provide the technical service train the workers from the buyers for free.
We can also send technicians to the buyer's companies abroad for help installation and testing the lines. But the buyer shall pay for the round trip tickets, accommodation, transportation, medicine treatment and insurance of the technicians in foreign countries and some salary accordingly.
