PE Heat Shrink Sleeve - Corrosion Resistant, Wear Resistant & Impact Resistant

The PE Heat Shrink Sleeve features a two-layer structure composed of radiation-crosslinked polyethylene backing and a special hot-melt adhesive layer. It is specifically designed for field joint coating of steel pipes and should be applied together with a non-solvent two-component epoxy primer to ensure optimal performance.

Upon heating, the polyethylene backing shrinks tightly around the pipe joint while the adhesive layer melts, forming a strong bond with the steel surface, FBE (Fusion-Bonded Epoxy), and the PE backing itself. This creates a durable, continuous anti-corrosion barrier that mimics the performance of factory-applied 3-layer protective coatings.

This heat shrinkable sleeve offers excellent resistance to corrosion, wear, impact, UV radiation, and aging. It is user-friendly and ideal for on-site application in various pipeline environments.
