The PE Heat Shrinkable Sleeve is a dual-layer system designed for superior anti-corrosion protection of pipeline field joints. It consists of a radiation cross-linked polyethylene backing and a special hot-melt adhesive. When applied with a non-solvent, two-component epoxy primer, it forms a corrosion-resistant layer comparable to factory-applied 3-layer coatings (3PE).
Upon heating, the PE backing shrinks while the adhesive melts, tightly sealing the sleeve to the pipe and forming a uniform, high-strength anti-corrosion barrier. This product offers outstanding resistance to wear, impact, UV, and aging, while ensuring ease of installation and long-term performance.
